Welcome to the Woolly

Bedded between the astounding, medieval St Mildred’s Church and the Town Hall, you will find the timber-framed Woolpack. A grade 2 listed, 15th-century build with a history that is most evident at first glance. Positioned in the heart of the county, its central location has made it a prominent meeting place for town folk for centuries. Today it is no different. Tenterden makes a perfect base from which to explore the Kent countryside and beyond, with London only a 35min train ride away. The Woolpack, or ‘The Woolly' as it’s affectionately known, is a family and dog friendly pub and restaurant with six individually designed bedrooms. The Woolly is a hub for locals and visitors alike and you can always rest assured of a warm welcome. Placed in the middle of the High Street, next to the Town Hall, the pub has open fires, a warm cosy atmosphere and some excellent ales and wines. Come and see for yourself.
